Elmar has more than tan year's experience in the recruitment of experts, as well as M&A, and consulting in the logistics industry. The recruitments were mostly on the management level for multinational clients in Asia.
Before moving into the Consulting industry, Elmar was holding several high level Positions, with various multinational logistics companies.
He was country Manager Indonesia and Bangladesh for ABX LOGISTICS, Whie with held the position of Country Manager for both in Austria and Bangladesh. During his time with PANALPINA World transport, he held several Senior Management positions, including that of Business Administrator in Nigeria, Director in South Korea, and Managing Director in Thailand, in these roles he was responsible for the overall management and the business development.
During this period, Elmar gained extensive Management Experience in the freight Forwarding and Logistics industry, conducted major projects, and handled the supply chain management for multinational clients.
His best knowledge of business development, solution and employment of key staff across the Asia Pacific region, combined with his excellent understanding of all intercultural aspects make Elmar a prime resource for all LC clients regarding all aspects of managing businesses is Asia as well as those of key executive appointments.
Bom and reised in Austria, Elmar speaks German and English. He graduated from Forwarding school in Austria, the College of Swiss Mercantile society, London and studied Foreign Trade and Management at the Swiss Institute of Economy at the University of St Gallen/ Switzerland Married with two grown up Children, Elmar is now living in Bangkok and responsible for the Asian Region for Log Cons, and Trade Logistics Bangladesh Ltd
